Silent Auction

offer an item.

Treasures and experiences make up a meaningful share of what this weekend raises. If you have something to give, tell us about it and we will take it from there.

What Works Well

the things
people bid on.

Experiences

A stay, a guided trip, a table for eight. These draw the highest bids because nobody else can offer them.

Local and made by hand

Art, jewellery, florals, food. Our room is full of people who would rather buy from someone they know.

Gift certificates

Straightforward, easy to display, and easy for a winner to use. Just tell us about any dates or restrictions.

When do you need it by?

The sooner we know what is coming, the sooner it goes on the bid sheets and into our promotion. Physical items are needed in Albany before the event on Saturday, January 9, 2027.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Confirming this with the committee before launch. It depends on whether gifts are receipted by the Knox Martin Foundation or by Sav's Crack at a Cure.

Will my business be credited?

Yes, unless you would rather we did not. Donors are listed on the bid sheet, thanked from the room, and named on our sponsor page alongside every past auction donor.

What if my item does not sell?

It rarely happens, but if it does we will contact you to arrange the return of a physical item.

Another Way to Help

sponsorship carriesyour name further.

Sponsors are recognised across the event, its signage and its marketing, and they are the reason every dollar raised in the room can go straight to research.
